How does a network create connections? Electromagnetic waves.

• • 2x3 routers (all routers have 2 interfaces (2 cables/connections))
• • we have 200x2 devices, 400 in total
• • the DMZ machine, so 1 address for it
• switches are not Type-3 so they don't have IP addresses

Gateway

It's the communication tunnel for a device to connect to other networks / external mostly.

Each device in a private network has the same IP address connecting to internet. The process of changing the IP is called [[NAT (Network Address Translation)]].
